| The Masters of Wisdom
U nknown to most of us, above the human kingdom there exists, and always existed, another kingdom - the Spiritual Kingdom or the Kingdom of Souls, also known as the Spiritual Hierarchy of our planet. It is made up of the Masters and Initiates of Wisdom, of that group of men and women who have gone ahead of us, evolved before us, and, in the case of the Masters, have come to the end of the evolutionary experience on this planet. Through the demonstration of the Love of God the Masters have reached the relative perfection, a perfection that one day will be our own destiny to manifest. The Masters serve the Plan of Evolution of the human and subhuman kingdoms. They are the custodians of all the energies entering the planet. Powerful cosmic energies impinge upon this planet from everywhere in space. The Masters work with these energies, scientifically balancing them and sending them into the world to help humanity and the lower kingdoms - animal, vegetable and mineral - evolve. From behind the scenes the
Masters have guided and protected humanity, for countless millennia. Working
through their disciples in all fields of human endeavour They have inspired
great human achievements throughout our history.
Our Zodiac - The Cosmic Clock of
Evolution
Concurrently to the better known twelve month zodiac cycle, there exits another - greater - cycle. This greater cycle which takes almost 26,000 years to complete. During this greater cycle our sun makes a journey in relation to the twelve constellations of the zodiac and, approximately every 2,150 years, comes into an alignment, a particular energetic relationship, with each of the constellations in turn. When we are in that alignment, we say we are in the age of that particular constellation, and are the recipient of powerful cosmic energies streaming from it. For approximately 2,000 years, our sun has stood in that relationship to the constellations Pisces. We have been in the age of Pieces. The age of Pisces has ended and we are now entering the age of Aquarius. At the beginning or the end
of every age, the Hierarchy of Masters send one of Their Great Ones into
the world to act as a Teacher for the coming time. We know some of
these great teachers historically as Hercules, Hermes, Rama, Mithra, Confucius,
Zoroaster, Vyasa, Krishna, Buddha, the Christ, and Mohammed. They
are all members of the same group, the Spiritual Hierarchy of our planet.
The Lord Maitreya - the World Teacher Maitreya holds the office of the World Teacher - the Head of the Spiritual Hierarchy of Masters of Wisdom. He has held this office since 600 BC and will remain in this role for the next 2600 years. At that time Maitreya will move on to higher work and the apostle John, who is now known as the Master Koot Hoomi, will take up this office. The Lord Maitreya is the embodiment of the energy of Love, or the Christ Principle. He receives this energy directly from our sun and anchors it on the planet. Through Him this Energy flows through the hearts of all humanity. He is the great Lord of Love and of Compassion (just as His predecessor, the Buddha, was the Lord of Wisdom). He is the Master of the Masters, and the Instructor of the Angels. To Him is committed the guidance of the spiritual destinies of men, and the development of the realisation within each human being that he is a child of God and a son of the Most High. Maitreya works by means of a meditation centred within the heart. Maitreya returns to the world at this time in history, the dawn of the new age of Aquarius, to show us the way forward and to help us transform this world.

The Laws and Rules of Life by the Master –, through Benjamin Creme Since time immemorial, men have known of, and expected the coming of, a great teacher, an outstanding man of wisdom and revealed truth. Cyclically, age after age, have these Great Ones come forth. Today is no exception to this cosmic law. As the new era dawns, men stand expectant as never before for a sight of the Great Teacher Who, though they know it not, is already in men's midst. Throughout the planet, old and young, poor and rich, make ready for His Announcement, His Declaration of Mission and Purpose, His tryst with mankind. As the old century and era wind to their close, men's minds are quickening to the new energies which will fashion the forms of the new civilization and impose their qualities on the consciousness of men. These qualities - of synthesis and fusion, tolerance and goodwill, harmlessness and brotherly love - will, in time, bring the race of men to the manifestation of its destined glory. Thus shall it be, and thus shall men enter again into their age-old Covenant with the Divine. Little though they may know it, men are on the threshold of a re-awakening to the very meaning and purpose of their existence. Trial and test It is, in part, to see men safely through this period of trial and test that their Elder Brothers, the Masters of Wisdom, are returning openly to the world. With Their great leader - Maitreya, the World Teacher - at Their head, They will inspire the creation of the new, more appropriate structures which will allow men to live and work together in peace. From that peace will manifest a creativity and resource unlike aught seen before. Men will learn and understand the subtle laws which govern their lives: the basic law of life, the Law of Karma, of Cause and Effect, which controls the destiny of all; the related Law of Rebirth, which makes possible the journey of the Soul in matter; the Law of Harmlessness, which governs right relationship, and the great Law of Sacrifice by which all evolution proceeds. Through an understanding of these laws, men will come to resemble their Mentors, their Elder Brothers, and to demonstrate the Divinity shared by all. They will hearken to the teaching of the Wise Ones and, step by step, inherit their Birthright. Men are born to become Gods and nought can change that destiny; the timing, only, lies in men's hands. Soon the world will know
that the One for Whom men wait is now among us. Soon, indeed, will He show
His face and beckon men to His side. Calling for justice for all will the
Great Lord stake His claim to the right to teach the Laws and Rules of
Life, the Sacred Path by which men become Gods.

Maitreya's appearance in Nairobi, Kenya Nairobi, Kenya - "About 6,000 worshippers in Nairobi, Kenya, believe they saw Christ on 11 June 1988. The tall figure of a bare-footed, white-robed and bearded man appeared from nowhere and stood in the middle of the crowd, whom he addressed in clear unaccented Swahili. Many healings took place - twenty cripples walked again. He departed in as mysterious a manner as he appeared." |

1988, Maitreya has appeared miraculously throughout the world, mainly to
orthodox religious groups, presenting in the simplest terms the great spiritual
laws governing our lives.
He appears in different forms to different groups and individuals - but always in a form that inspires recognition. According to Benjamin Creme
the purpose of such appearances and other miracles is to uphold the faith
of the faithful, to renew their belief in God's love and blessing, and
to prepare their hearts and minds for the imminent appearance of their
awaited Teacher.
